Description

Situated just outside the charming town of Cisternino in the heart of the Itria valley is one of the most stunning cluster of trulli that we have seen. The owners have lovingly restored three trulli and a farmhouse building to offer self-catering accommodation and several rooms on a bed and breakfast basis.

There are three bed and breakfast rooms with air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms overlooking the swimming pool and there are two rooms close to the trullo. The rooms are tastefully furnished.

The bed and breakfast rooms are in the adjoining building and in-keeping with the style of the property.

The property is situated in a peaceful location at the end of a country lane. Surrounded by beautifully kept gardens, cacti, olive, carob and almond trees as well as the “Ficodindia”- prickly pear trees, the trulli are immersed in greenery; well away from the hustle and bustle of hectic city life. From the swimming pool there are superb views across undulating hills lined with olive trees.

In the main farmhouse there is a reception area with a small library. There is also a barbeque for guest's use. Bicycles are available on request.

Accommodation:
Rooms overlooking pool have a terrace and garden with a large fig tree providing some welcome shade.

Flora: Double bedroom with a mezzanine floor. En-suite bathroom with shower. Possiblility to add a cot or extra bed on request. Air conditioning and central heating.

Biblos: Double bedroom. En-suite bathroom with shower. Air conditioning and central heating.

Apulia: Small apartment with its own little patio and a basic kitchen area with hob. This apartment sleeps 2+1. No air conditioning or heating.

Tulipano: Double bedroom. En-suite bathroom with shower. Air conditioning.

There is also one large family room which has one double bed and a single bed on a mezzanine level, this is in the annex next to the trullo.
