Description
This very attractive and spacious 3 storey farmhouse has recently been expertly restored by its English owners and is set within 3 acres of undulating meadow in the foothills of the beautiful Sibillini Mountains. The villa's stunning pool and surrounding sun terraces are on an elevated plateau, providing superb views across the valley.
Just 5 minutes drive away is the picturesque hill-top town of Penna San Giovanni. Penna offers local amenities and also has a great pizzeria. There are also some good restaurants nearby in San Angelo in Pontano and also in Monte San Martino.
The nearest large town to Casa Marissa is Sarnano. Sarnano is a thermal spa town and is also a ski resort during the winter months.
Just 40 minutes drive away are the beautiful beaches of the Adriatic, the nearest one being at the Marina resort of Porto San Giorgio.
Casa Marissa has terracotta tiled floors, chestnut beamed ceilings and a large open fireplace in the main lounge. The ground floor rooms are linked by classic Italian arches and provides large open living areas. The master bedroom has a stunning four poster bed made by local craftsman.
A rustic loggia provides welcome shade during the hot summer months for dining and BBQs. Casa Marissa is ideal for families and has been thoughtfully renovated by its owners who also have young children.
Ground Floor
Large lounge linked by an archway into a large dining room (with a new farmhouse table which seats 14 people) leading through another archway into the kitchen area. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave, toaster.
There is a downstairs toilet.
First Floor
Master bedroom with Queen size four-poster bed with large en-suite bathroom with shower. From this room there is access to a terracotta tiled terrace overlooking the pool. There is a staircase from the terrace leading down into the garden.
Bedroom with 3 single beds.Bedroom with twin beds. On this floor there is also a family bathroom with shower, bath, toilet and bidet.
Top Floor
Large, double en-suite bedroom and a large TV room with two double sofabeds (TV/DVD - TV is not satellite and plays DVDs only). There are board games and books for children/adults.
All first floor bedrooms have ceiling fans and top floor rooms have portable fans.
Externally
There is a loggia off the kitchen/dining room and a pergola off the lounge and these are linked by a terrace. A short walk across the garden leads to the 15m x 5m stunning swimming pool set in an elevated position. In the gardens there is a BBQ, large, wooden play frame with swings and a slide and a trampoline.

Utility area with sink, washing machine and clothes airer.
Casa Marissa is great for families and larger groups and is an ideal base for walking holidays, family beach holidays and provides the perfect retreat to unwind and relax.
