Description
This delightful hotel is situated in the historic centre of Conversano. This is a lively, typical Puglian town in a good location just north of the Itria Valley. Sandwiched inbetween the winding, narrow cobbled streets and the "Duomo" cathedral this property enables you to experience typical Italian life of Southern Italy.
Situated less than one hour's drive from Bari airport, this property is ideally located for a weekend break. Conversano also has a railway station so you do not need to hire a car for this property. From here it is possible to visit a variety of interesting towns by train such as Alberobello, Martina Franca and Lecce.
This recently restored Medieval Court,is the ancient residence where Sybilla (wife of the Guglielmo II the Conqueror's son) lived. The property has been transformed into suites and rooms.
The rooms are equipped with modern services such as air conditioning, satellite
television, a safe, internet connection, minibar and a direct dial telephone. All the rooms and the roof top restaurant can be accessed either by stair or by lift.
Some suites have balconies and there is also a roof terrace where breakfast is served. The hotel can also arrange bicycles upon request.
A private taxi can be arranged to collect you from Bari Airport. Please request when making a booking. The hotel also has a car park close to the hotel.
