Description
Welcome to Paradise!!
Occupying a commanding position overlooking the clear turquoise blue water of the Tyrrhenian Sea and just a few minutes from the beach, this superb new villa has tremendous sea and mountain views. This terraced villa set on different levels has three apartments and three B&B rooms, each sleeping between 2- 4 people. The villa also has a swimming pool, pool terrace, breakfast room, gardens and car parking. And for guests staying in the B&B rooms there is a huge lounge with curved panoramic windows overlooking the sea. The central feature of the lounge is a magnificent wooden open tread winder staircase leading up to two of the rooms on the galleried landing. The lounge also has a large, flat screen satellite TV, numerous very comfortable sofas along with coffee tables and table and chairs.
Breakfast is included for guests staying in the apartments as well as the B&B rooms and the owner a chef ensures his guests are offered a very hearty breakfast with a generous selection of savoury and sweet dishes. Additionally, The owner offers to cook his guests a meal one evening per week and guests have the option of sampling his excellent cuisine. Pizza/pasta delivery can also be arranged.
The unique feature about this excellent accommodation is that the owners offer all the facilities of a hotel to guests staying in the rooms and the apartments. Facilities include - room service for tea/coffee/snacks (extra cost), free beach umbrella, laundry service (extra cost).
Each apartment and B&B room has sea view.
3 Apartments sleep 2 + 2
3 B&B Rooms (2 rooms sleep 2 persons and 1 sleeps 4 persons in 2 bedrooms – 1 twin, 1 double)
Apartments have air conditioning/heating units in the lounge and bedroom. Lounges have a table, chairs, dresser, sat TV, camera gate-phone, telephone and sofa which makes into a double sofa-bed. Kitchens are well equipped and have an oven, hob and a fridge. Bathrooms have shower cubicles and hairdryers. Bedrooms have a wardrobe, table, side-table, chair and a Queen size double bed. Each apartment has its own excellent furnished terrace overlooking the sea with table, chairs, sun-loungers and brick built BBQ. The tiered terraces have various trees offering shade.
Two of the B&B Rooms have one double bedroom and the other B&B has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom- both of these bedrooms opening onto a large terrace. The other two B&B rooms have either a balcony or a window overlooking the sea. Each has one bathroom. Rooms with one bedroom have shower cubicle and the other with two bedrooms has a bathroom with large corner bath accessed via a dressing room with clothes storage. All bedrooms have air conditioning/heating units. All B&B Rooms have a fridge.
Pool towels are included for B&B rooms/apartments.
A mosquito machine is included in B&B rooms/apartments.
Pool size 7.5 x 11 metres (open May to end September). The pool has a diving board. At the end of the pool terrace there is a shower and toilets. Trees on one side of the pool provide shade. The terrace has sun loungers, tables and chairs and a communal BBQ. The breakfast room is on the pool terrace. Steps from the pool terrace lead down to the terrace below for access into the apartments and B&B Rooms and their designated lounge.
The villa is just 5 minutes by car from the town of San Vito lo Capo with its fabulously long, white sandy beach (Blue Flag). The town has a large choice of bars, restaurants, trattorias, post office, bakeries, pharmacies. At the far end of the town is a harbour and the San Vito lo Capo lighthouse beyond.
Nearer to the villa at 2km there is a pebbly beach. At 4km there is the “Jolly” supermarket and a pharmacy (open summer months only) other pharmacies are in the centre of the town. The nearest restaurant and bar is 4km.
This property is in a spectacular location with amazing views. There are some really nice walks into the nearby hills and plenty of rock pools to explore along the coast. In September there is the 7 day "Cous Cous Fest" and the local restaurants offer excellent fish cous cous. In fact if you like fresh fish then the Sanvitese diet will be nothing short of heaven with plentiful Swordfish, Tuna, Sea Bream, Prawns, Clams and Mussels to choose from. Dolce here in Sicily is to die for and the Pasticcerie have row upon row of the deadliest deserts for waistlines!
Places to explore and not to be missed - the Norman Castle of Torri Pepoli, seemingly perched on a cloud! The drive up and down is not for the feint hearted however if you do make it to the top the views of the Egadi Islands are unbelievable.You can also take a cable car to the top (when it is running!)
There are regular boat trips from Trapani to the Egadi Islands and also to Tunis.
This villa is new for 2007 as are the majority of the villas fixtures, fittings and stylishly comfortable furniture.
*Please note - this property has approximately 20-30 steps up to the pool terrace.
The apartments have a steep incline of around 18ft at the end of the terraces and although this is fenced, parents with young children should be vigilant.
