Description
Trulli stunning is exactly how I would describe this dazzlingly stylish and spaciously airy 11 cone trullo. Restored by its Irish owners in 2007. Trullo PU153 is an absolute oasis of tranquility surrounded by mediterranean gardens and 4 acres of olive groves and woodland tracks to explore. The landscape is dotted with plum, pear, apple, lemon, orange and fig trees.
Winding terraces encircle the trullo dotted with age old olive trees with spreading branches providing welcome shade from the mid-day sun. Terrace areas are well furnished leading to the steps of the sparklingly azure water of the private infinity swimming pool (12.5m x 5m). The pool has the added feature of incorporating a circular children’s pool/dipping pool (0.6 m depth) with gently shelving steps at the trullo end. The property has been renovated with small children in mind as as the owners have small children themselves. There are also some pool inflatables for children. All the tiles around the pool are non slip and there are soft edges to the pool and infinity edge. The renovation of the trullo has been well thought out and the whole villa is light, airy and very spacious.
The well-designed kitchen is modern, very large and extremely well equipped.
Accommodation:
Lounge with double leather fold out bed. Tub chairs and sofa. TV/DVD-not satellite. Leading off the lounge through an arched entrance into the:
Kitchen with table and chairs for 8. Double oven, hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, traditional pizza oven, microwave, washing machine. French doors at either end of the kitchen lead out on to the side terrace under the vine covered pergola and French doors at the far end lead to the swimming pool terrace. Covered patio area with table for 8 and chairs and a bbq.
Off the lounge area are 3 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms with showers. (Two of the bedrooms are doubles and French doors lead out on to the swimming pool terrace (Queen size beds) and one bedroom is smaller with a single bed and a pull-out bed underneath the bed).
Trullo 153 has air conditioning in the bedrooms, bathrooms, lounge and kitchen.
It also has heating (extra charge). (Hairdryer, iron and ironing board provided.)
Baby pack available - Cot/highchair provided at no additional charge. Also shopping service available to purchase items for your baby for when you arrive.
The owner also includes a travel playstation II with a screen.
A chef can be arranged for one or more nights however, there is a restaurant approx 30 minutes walk from the trullo.
Please note - this is a No Smoking property.
This property can be booked along with its "sister" trulli 150 metres away - Trullo PU151 and also Trullo PU152 (both on our website) - ideal for weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, family reunions.
The Caretaker - Anna-Maria is available to assist guests with arranging cookery lessons, meal preparation, bicycle hire, baby-sitting, extra cleaning, help with stoking up the fourno to cook pizzas however - these services are chargeable and Anna-Maria can advise you upon request.

Arrivals must be between 1700 and 2000. If you will arrive on a later flight then you must telephone us when you book your flights to let us know. If you do not advise us and you arrive at the meeting point after 2000 then a late arrival fee of 20 euros is payable to the caretaker. |
